Hazel Crowney’s entry into Bollywood happened by chance in 2004 when she was backpacking in Thailand and stumbled upon an Indian film being shot there. Her first appearance in a Bollywood film was in the item song ‘Leke Pehla Pehla Pyaar’. With little prior knowledge of the sub-continent, she was attracted by the music and dance and decided to try her luck in Mumbai

Her first film was MP3 (Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar) which got her further recognition, despite the film’s terrible failure at the box office
Hazel also worked in several other films like 'U, Me and Hum', 'Mittal Vs Mittal' and 'Dunno Y... Na Jaane Kyon' and was seen in many commercials as well
Hazel’s latest venture is a dark thriller about the Mumbai underworld called ‘Jeena Hai Toh Thok Daal’
Interestingly, this is second time Hazel will be working with Ravi Kissen. She was earlier seen with Ravi Kissen in a very comic ‘Parle Monaco’ ad last year
