Trisha who acted with venkatesh in a couple of hit films may say no to act with him in the next movie seetamma thotalo sirimalle chettu, a multistarrer movie with mahesh babu being the other hero.
The reason for trisha to say no to this project is, if trisha acts opposite to venkatesh in this movie, she has to play the role of vadina to Mahesh babu. She acted with mahesh babu in Athadu and sainakudu and the pair was accepted well by audience. Hence she decided to quit the project if the role is vadina to mahesh babu.
Lets see who will rope in for the roles. This is the main problem in todays generation for a multistarrer movie. They must follow NTR-Savitri who acted in variety of roles
Trisha is paired up for the first time with NTR and she is very happy to bag a film with him at this point of her career. Trisha is excited about Dammu movie directed by Boyapati Srinu. In this movie Trisha is playing a different role in which she will be seen in three different getups.
One of Trisha’s getups will be a regal look and the actress isn’t willing to give any further details. NTR too will be donning various getups in this film.
Trisha was one of the popular south Indian actress. Initially she thought that it will be easy for a south Indian actress to sustain in the Bollywood. But as her bollywood film khatta meeta bit the mud, she was nowsaying its difficult to manage between south films and bollywood films. It's not easy to get recognition in bollywood as easily as I got in south. There was lot of competition in Mumbai for leading actress. It seems finally trisha understood the facts and will settle down the south.
Recently in an interview, Trisha said that, "I think Meera of Teenmaar is better than Jessie in all ways."
She further said that, "Love Aaj Kal is one of my favourite films and I must've seen it a dozen times on DVD. The plot of the Telugu version has been changed to suit the taste of mass audiences and I think the last 20 minutes leave you spellbound. My character, Meera, is very stylish. I could relate to her a lot perhaps because she's very impulsive. Jayanth insisted that my character be loud and that I wear bright colours and eye shadow. Chetan has done a great job with my costumes which have done a great deal for my look in the film."
If one were to go by media gossip, Trisha is one actress who has been married the mostnumber of times! A few days ago, a Telugu publication reported about her plans to get married to a business tycoon.
Clearing the air, the actress recently told media, "How many times can these guys get me married? I get very upset when people publish such inaccurate reports. If I'm getting married, I will announce it to the world as I have nothing to hide. As of today, I'm yet to find Mr Right."
Tell her about the grapevine being abuzz about her seeing a Hyderabad-based business tycoon and investment banker and the actress immediately pooh-poohs it. "It's an example of somebody's fertile imagination running riot," she says dismissively.
According to industry experts, Trisha is still the hottest heroine in Tamil and Telugu films. She is considered by many as the big-budget survivor who has matured over the years to become an actress of substance. In fact, her performance in the Kamal Haasan-Madhavan starrer Manmadhan Ambu received critical acclaim. The actress was also nominated for this year's Filmfare awards for the best debutante for her role in Khatta Meeta.
However, the pick of the roles are coming her way. For instance, Savithri, strongly rumoured to be the Telugu avatar of Rain Man, has her playing a meaty role.
The actress, who has just completed a schedule of her Teen Maar (Love Aaj Kal's Telugu remake) with Pawan Kalyan in Mysore, is now all set to shoot with thala Ajith in Mumbai for Venkat Prabhu's Mankatha. Says Trisha, "I had a blast shooting with Ajith, Venkat Prabhu and rest of the Mankatha team in the previous schedules. The film is going to be a rollicking entertainer. I will be joining the team in Mumbai for the last schedule from February 26." Offers from Kollywood keep coming her way. "Tamil cinema is always my first love and I'd never miss the opportunity if I'm given a good script by a good director. I'm enjoying my work and have no plans for marriage in the near future," she signs off.

Trisha's going to be the next lucky actress to be part of mega star Rajinikanth's nextsuperhero film. According to sources the actress has been roped to play an important role in Rajinikanth's first animation film Rana.
The film was earlier titled 'Sultaan – The Warrior' but is now renamed as 'Rana'. Trisha's entry in 'Rana' has added glam quotient in this 3D animation film in which she will share screen space with the real Rajinikanth.

It seems Kamal Haasan is controversy's child. Be it his personal life or professional, he is always making news. Recently, his forthcoming film 'Manmada Banam' ran into trouble as a Hindu Political party opposed the lyrics penned by Haasan. The organization claimed that the song hurt their values and sentiments .
The political party also asked the song to be removed from the film; however, Haasan is in no mood to handle such tantrums. Present at a promotional event in Kochi, Haasan made is stand clear, "The film has been certified by the Censor Board. So there is no question of deleting the particular song from the film."

This month has been really hectic for Trisha, but the actress doesn't seem to be complaining. In fact, this PYT says December is her most favourite time of the year!
She has just packed up shooting for one of her films in Cape Town and headed to Dubai to attend the wedding of one of her best friends.
She tweeted, "Really looking forward to all the elaborate functions and ceremonies. All my best friends are gonna be there. Love my friends and my time with them."
She further wrote, "December is surely my most favourite time of the year, especially because of Christmas. There's something so magical about it."
Kamal Haasan and Trisha starrer 'Manmadhan Ambu' is in news again. Reportedly, apolitical party by the name Hindu Makkal Katchi has taken an objection to few lines of the song 'Kannodu Kannai Kalandhal' in the film.
According to 'HMK', some lines quoting Aranganathar and Sri Varalakshmi hurts the sentiments of the Hindus and is an insult to their religion. However, the party has sent notices to the leading actors Kamal and Trisha on whom the song is filmed. Both the actorshave also rendered their voices for the song. A notice has been served to producer Udhayanidhi Stalin and director KS Ravikumar too.

She continues, “I’m on the move every day and see many dogs lying in the garbage and loitering on the streets. It’s heartbreaking when I see them. People should understand that Indian dogs can be well-bred too. You may wonder what difference adopting a dog might make, but it does have a great effect on the animal.”
Does that mean that she is campaigning for the adoption of dogs and not buying them? “Exactly! But I do not prefer to call them stray as I consider every animal special. Six years ago, I had adopted Cadbury (an Indian dog) and he’s now the darling of my family. In fact, he is my karmic buddy,” muses Trisha.
Quiz the actress if she grew close to any animal while shooting and she replies with a grin. “During the shoot of my Telugu film NuvvostananteNenoddanta na, I became close with the pomeranian in the film. He provided me great company throughout the shoot. On that note, let me also tell you that I am against shooting with animals illegally.”
The dog-lover in Trisha is now all excited as she truly hopes that she will be able to help spread word about the noble cause through her latest campaign. “Adopt a dog and treat him or her like a family member. That’s the mantra,” she winds up.

We’ve also heard that she’s generously doled out innumerable dates for her B-town debut. “I spared 120 days for the film, since Priyadarshan works very fast in comparison to otherBollywood filmmakers. He has wrapped up most of the shooting, we only have a 15-day schedule left,” she says. And she reserves special praise for co-star Akshay Kumar. “Akshay’s known to have great comic timing, I think even my comic timing is good as I have done lots of Tamil and Telugu comedy flicks. Besides comedy, the film has its share of emotional moments too. Working with Akshay has been a pleasant experience, he has been a good teacher. I have learnt a lot from him,” she confesses. Is her three-film contract with the superstar still on? “Of course. I have to do another film for Akshay’s production house, either with him or some other actor,” she discloses.
Now that she is 26, does she think, she should have kick started her B-town innings, a bit earlier? “I don’t think so. It doesn’t matter too much when you make your debut in Bollywood, what matters is the kind of project you make your debut in. I had received a couple of Hindi film offers in the past, but they didn’t seem exciting. So, when my mentor Priyadarshan offered me this meaty role, I just grabbed it,” she says. Trisha’s also signed Kamal’s next film, simply after hearing the story line over the phone. “The plot sounded interesting. Working with Kamal sir is a great honour, so it’s like a double bonanza for me,” she confesses.

The movie is being remade in Kannada and though trisha expressed her desire to act in the kannada version of akashamantha, Prakash raj refused her and selected actress ramya for the lead role. By the way Prakash raj is debuting as director with this film.

"We shot at the Blue Lagoon where the temperature was minus one degrees, this place has a huge geothermal spa and I was thrilled when I heard that anyone who suffers from any ailment just has to take a dip in this pool. Even though I’ve travelled a lot I’ve never seen a black beach anywhere -the entire beach including the sand, water and the rocks are all black here. When I saw this I was very curious to learn more about this and this is when one of the local consultants explained to me that the colour was a result of the volcanic eruptions that take place once a decade and this is mixed with the seawater. But all said and done, this spot offered us a picturesque location for our songs." tells the tollywood queen trisha.

1. Trisha
She stayed on top this year, both in Telugu and Tamil films. Starting off the year with massive hit Krishna with Raviteja, an average grosser Bujjigadu opposite Prabhas, Trisha is signing off the year with Nagarjuna's King, which has already got good talk.
2. Genelia
Genelia, who wowed audiences in Santhosh Subramaniam remake of bommarillu and Ready, has also sizzled in bollywood with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na becoming a super hit. With her slim figure and expressive eyes, she's the darling of the masses. Her Sasirekha Parinayam opposite Tarun, explores more acting skills of the slim beauty.
3. Anushka
Anushka Shetty came third with her kitty full of hits. Opening the year with Okka Magaadu , Swagatham both are big disasters, Sowryam established her as sensuous sex-bomb andChintakayala Ravi with venkatesh did a average business. Anushka's awaiting the release of the heroine-oriented Arundhati which is a heavy budget film.
4. Ileana
Ileana, who sizzled in Jalsa opposite Pawan Kalyan, conquered male hearts and made them to sing "My heart is beating". Bhale dongalu with tarun didnt impress anyone. she was back with a bang, signing up four movies: with Vishnu Vardhan (Saleem), Nitin (Local) and another untitled flick with raviteja .

But the latest buzz is that she has voluntarily opted out of theses two plum projects to accommodate Kamal Hassan’s magnum opus Marmayogi. The reason is that she has to give bulk dates of nearly 200 days for this Kamal film, which will start rolling soon and she will have no time for any other projects. Before that, Trisha has to complete two projects in Tamil Sarwam and Chennayil Oru Mazhailalam. Her next release will be Radha Mohan directed Abhiyum Njanum.
Sources close to Trisha say that she is upset that, she had to opt out of Venky’s and Ravi Teja’s films to accommodate Marmayogi which will be a lifetime role for the actress. It seems that Trisha has decided to give her best for Marmayogi as it was always her dream to do a film with Kamal, her all time favourite actor.

Recently Nayan was supposed to be the chief guest at mutual friend and designer SS Sidney's Spring Summer 2008 Collections. But when she came to know that Trisha was walking the ramp, she dropped out at the last minute. At the Filmfare function and later at the party, they ignored each other. And to rub it in, last week, Nayan also looked through Shriya and Reema Sen who were staying in the same hotel while Trisha threw a big party after winning the Filmfare award for which she did not invite her former friend. Vishal, who once claimed that he was madly in love with Nayan during the making of Sathyam, is said to be the new flavor in Trisha's life. The catfight, it seems, is not going to end anytime soon.

Kollywood seems to be getting high on remakes. The latest buzz doing rounds in the industryis that Shriya has replaced Trisha for the Tamil remake of the Hindi blockbuster Jab We Met. Initially, Trisha was supposed to play the role enacted by Kareena Kapoor in the original. Jab We Met was a big hit in Hindi which featured Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles. The feel-good romantic entertainer won the hearts of youth straight away and was hot property down south for a remake. Moserbaer is planning to remake the movie in Tamil and Dhanush has been roped in to do the lead role.

When I started out, I said that for the first few years I’d have fun here. But now, I’m seriously considering acting as a profession. I aim to be successful, famous and a good actor and I’m pretty charged about it," she says.
Trisha means success in Russian; she is probably the only heroine after Sridevi to be successful in Tamil and Telugu. She has withstood pressures, controversies, competition and emerged on top due to her hard work and commitment. This year’s two big summer releases in Tamil (Kuruvi) and Telugu (Bujjigadu - Made in Chennai) featured her in the female lead. In the ad world, she is the hottest model and is brand ambassador for half a dozen consumer items.
Trisha, or Trash as she is affectionately known among her friends, is a big-budget survivor in an industry where top heroines burn out in two years. She came into films after being crowned Miss Chennai and made her debut as heroine in Lesa Lesa. This was followed by a string of superhits like Saamy, Ghillli, Tirupachi and Unakkum Enakkum. She tasted bigger success in Telugu with blockbusters like Nuvvostante Nenoddantana, Varsham, Athudu, Aadavari Matalaku Andhalu Verule, Krishna and other films. Till date, the lass has acted in 28 films- 18 in Tamil and 10 in Telugu.
Her winsome smile, sharp features and an hour-glass figure are her strengths that have taken her to the masses. Trisha is probably the only Tamil girl who has made it big in the last 10 years in an industry full of North Indian and Malayalee girls. Quiz her about her success and survival instincts, the actress shoots back- "It’s a lot of hard work and a bit of luck; one has to be at the right place at the right time." Her hit ratio in Telugu seems far better (75 percent) than in Tamil (50 percent). "I cannot understand why my Telugu films do better than my Tamil ones. It may be because the roles I do in Telugu gave me a lot more scope to perform and they never wasted me. I think Tamil cinema is too hero-centric," says the actress who has won two Filmfare and two State awards for her roles in Telugu films.
She is one actress who loves to experiment with her looks and goes for styling at regular intervals. When she experiments, it generates a lot of attention. When she had a Nemo fish tattoo done just below her left shoulder, it was news. And now, it is the Swarovski crystal on her teeth that is making news.
Trisha says that she has no regrets about doing some films which turned out to be bad at the end. "I don’t regret any movie that I have done. I sign a film more on my gut feeling and sometimes at the end of it, they may not work," she adds.

Trisha is currently working on director Gautham Menon’s Chennayil Oru Mazhaikalam with a bunch of newcomers. She enthuses: "To me, the main attraction of the film was working with Gautham". She informs us that her role in the film is something that she has never attempted before. She is also working on a film titled Sarwam directed by Vishnuvardhan of Billa fame and a film with Radhamohan (titled Abhiyum Nanum) of Mozhi fame.
Controversies have chased this actress at regular intervals. If it was the MMS clips a few years ago, it was her road rage on the ECR and frequent partying that were talked about. But of late, the actress has been keeping an extremely low profile and keeping away from the press. "Controversies are part of stardom but the press tries to blow it out of proportion. At the end of the day, it is my work in films that should speak," she says. About partying, she asks, "What’s wrong in partying? I am a young and independent girl and have never denied that I have a lot of friends with whom I am comfortable. After a hard day’s shoot, I need to unwind and be relaxed. I don’t see anything wrong in it and it’s my private life".
Quiz her about competition and she frowns: "It’s a rat race out here. A new girl comes to theindustry every other day. The moment you trip, there’s someone ready to take your place and there’s no room for error". About her recent fall out with Nayanthara, the actress says that she has no issues with anyone. "She has never been my close buddy though we hung around together. I’m closest to Reema and Shriya as we bond well. But, we don’t discuss work. After all, it takes two to tango!"

Trisha- the cute girl of AMAV and Krishna looked some what different in Bujjigadu and Tamil film Kurvi.
Irrespective of the fate of the films, Trisha couldn't impress the audiences, not even her fans. The fans of Trisha are very much disappointed with make up Trisha in the film Bujjigadu. It is heard that Trisha is in Shock and started damage control efforts.

Film | : | Bujjigadu Movie Review |
Rating | : | 2.5/5 |
Casting | : | Prabhas, Trisha, Mohan babu |
Theatrical Release | : | May 22, 2008 |
Other Cast: Mohanbabu, Sanjana, Subbaraju, Ajay, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Ali, Suneel, MS Narayana, Ahuti Prasad, Brahmaji, Hema, Sudha and Others. Action: Vijayan. Art: Chinna. Cinematography: Shyam K. Naidu. Editing: MR Varma. Music: Sandeep Chowta. Story, Screenplay, Dialogues & Direction: Puri Jagannath. Producer: KS Rama Rao. Banner: Creative Commercials. Bujjigadu has promos that look like this could have the Puri stamp on it, typically with a crazy character as the protagonist, lots of dishum-dishum and entertaining humor and a love story in the crux. It would still have qualified for that were it not for the routine feel of the entire movie and the lacklustre second half. Bujji runs away from home after his neighbor and love interest Chitti refuses to speak to him over a trivial fight; promising to speak after 12 years and then marry him. Years later, Bujji who grows up away from his family in Chennai returns to Vizag to find that Chittis family shifted base to Hyderabad. He gets stuck in a police case because of his friend Satti, a petty smuggler and gets a contract to kill in the jail. The target is Sivanna, whom his rival gang are trying to wipe out for the longest time. Bujjis in Hyderabad, searching for Chitti, who is also desperately trying to locate him. His attempt on Sivannas life is futile but he lands up in Sivannas house and his motives go for a toss. Story, Screenplay and Direction : Slowly, bad is becoming the new good even in Telugu cinema. The change is subtle, but it is there. People who kill, take contracts to kill, gangsters, anti-social elementsare no longer the bad guys only. They can be good guys in the bad business. Shankar Goud of Dhee is one such character in recent times who clicked with the audiences. Pokiri of course is an undercover cop, so that doesnt count. Bujji and Sivanna, on the other hand, are actually speaking anti-social, but that seems not to be an issue-they are still the Heroes. That apart, the movie itself has some entertaining bits, where the actual love story is concerned. That story creates interest, the gang wars and the rival gang leader taking a liking to the killer hired to finish him off-that creates interest. The concepts by itself are interesting, but the narrative is unable to sustain that interest. The second half fizzles out slowly but surely, and the only thing that keeps the attention is that Chitti doesnt get to know Bujjis identity till the nth moment, because he introduces himself as Rajnikant. The whole Tamil angle is new, but it would work out well were the rest of the movie as strong as Prabhass Tamil. There is a fight in a poultry farm in the beginning where the actor gets to show off his new lean look. The rest of the action sequences (there are many) are routine, but the one where he tries to kill Sivanna is okay. Puri always works out the protagonists characters details very fervently, and tends to create quirky characters-thats his strength. Bujji has that, at least, and what with his calling everyone Darling and killing a guy with a single punch, he keeps you awake. The entire movie, unfortunately, doesnt try too hard to do that. |

There are a number of rumours doing the rounds in Tollywood about the story of the film. Some rumours even say the writer Madhubabu (detective Shadow fame) has provided the story for the film. But Madhubabu denied that he has provided the story for the film.

Vinayak is already ready with script and going around to select the star cast for the film. Vinayak is in consultation with Trisha and she likely to be finalized opposite NTR.
If so, it is the first film in the combination of NTR and Trisha. And Trisha will be the second heroine after Shriya who paired up almost with all the top heroes of Tollywood.
Trisha paired up with Prabhas, Mahesh, Megastar, Ravi teja, Venkatesh and Nag (King) so far, now with NTR, so except Balakrishna, she acted with all the top stars of Tollywood.
Vinyak who won the hearts of Telugu audiences with Trisha in his Krishna, Sankranthi release wants to repeat lucky
